Franklin Templeton Partners with DigiFT to Distribute Tokenized Funds in Asia
Franklin Templeton has forged a long-term strategic alliance with Singapore-based digital asset exchange DigiFT to distribute its Benji Technology Platform to institutional clients across Asia. The partnership will leverage DigiFT's regulatory approvals in Singapore and Hong Kong to offer tokenized fund products with features like intraday yield accrual and near-instant settlement.
"This collaboration aligns with our mission to deliver institutional-grade digital asset solutions," said DigiFT CEO Henry Zhang. The Benji Platform targets treasury management, yield infrastructure, and collateral use cases—addressing growing demand for blockchain-based financial instruments among sophisticated investors.
Franklin Templeton's Chetan Karkhanis emphasized the deal's focus on accessibility, noting the platform's 24/7 transferability and patented yield mechanisms. The move signals accelerating institutional adoption of tokenized assets in key Asian financial hubs.
